I like to think the Utopia Paradox can be applied to personal lives as well. People often appoint improvements and changes to the future versions of themselves only present in future perfect realities. Commonly refraining from partaking in betterment of themselves in the present, alluding to the non-suitable environment the present entails and constantly waiting for the future utopia-like environment that will never come because Utopia like mentioned in this post isn't a final destination but a perpetual journey and the fruits of a so-called Utopia are only borne when one understand that. When one understands and treats everyday like a little Utopia, it forces them to act accordingly.
