The narrative you are experiencing if it feels robbing you of your agency, you should demand the provenance that show what data was used and the mathematical tie to the provided result. The best processes allow you then to challenge a parameter (like the tone of the response - AI temperature) or change the weights of the inputs. (Down grading a source relative to another. In the end AI is a neutral token generator. If a response feels off use provenance to find out why it feels like that. A good provenance will put the response in perspective and is better than trying to speak to a human who has the same judgement but cannot or will not explain him or herself. AI is a machine like a car it has no soul.
