Have you ever paused to consider if your smartphone, your social media feeds, or the constant drive for efficiency are doing more than just serving you?
We were discussing these topics in a group call yesterday. Our dialogue centered around topics related to AI and the impact on the human body/mind, and identity. We are a group of glitch artists, and we see glitch art as the way to enframe technology, raise awareness. This is a very interesting piece of writing, I will bring this text to our next discussion.
Science and technology are not neutral: they render specific metaphysical assumptions operational. The assumptions they encode—often implicitly—shape not only how reality is described, but how it is engineered, governed, and ultimately lived. Science risks becoming dogma when it mistakes predictive success for ontological truth—confusing the accuracy of its models with the nature of reality itself.
